Verbena rigida (Hardy Verbena)
Verbena rigida, commonly known as Hardy Verbena, is a tough, low-growing perennial that forms a spreading mat of rough, dark green leaves. In summer through autumn, it produces vibrant clusters of purple to magenta flowers that attract butterflies and bees, adding long-lasting colour to the garden. Its spreading habit makes it an excellent choice for groundcovers, edging, or spilling over walls.
