Description
Lonicera nitida (Box Honeysuckle)
Lonicera nitida, commonly known as Box Honeysuckle, is a dense, evergreen shrub prized for its small, glossy green leaves and neat, compact growth habit. It is often used as a low-maintenance alternative to boxwood for hedging and topiary. In spring, it produces tiny, creamy-white flowers that are subtly fragrant, followed by small purple-black berries that attract birds. Its fine texture and fast growth make it an excellent choice for shaping, screening, or ground cover.
