Description
Anthericum saundersiae, commonly known as Wedding Flower, is a graceful evergreen perennial valued for its delicate sprays of pure white star-shaped flowers that rise above neat clumps of green foliage. Flowering from late spring through summer, this elegant plant adds a light and airy effect to garden beds, borders, and containers.
The slender stems carry masses of small blooms that attract bees and other beneficial insects, making it a wonderful addition to wildlife-friendly gardens. Its tidy clumping growth habit makes it ideal for mass planting or lining pathways.
Wedding Flower grows well in full sun to semi-shade and is fairly drought tolerant once established, making it well suited to many South African gardens. It is also widely used as a cut flower, bringing a soft and natural elegance indoors.
