Description
Penstemon, also known as Beard-tongues, are versatile, long-flowering perennials prized for their elegant spikes of tubular blooms that attract bees, butterflies, and other pollinators. Available in a wide range of colours—from soft pastels to vibrant reds, purples, and pinks—Penstemons bring structure and continuous interest to the garden from late spring through autumn.
These easy-growing plants thrive in sunny, well-drained positions and are excellent for adding vertical accents to mixed borders, cottage gardens, and wildlife-friendly spaces. Their semi-evergreen foliage provides year-round appeal in mild climates. Regular deadheading encourages repeated blooms and keeps the plants looking their best.
