Terms and Conditions for Garden Nursery Online Delivery Service

1. Introduction
Welcome to Village Garden Online Nursery,These Terms and Conditions govern the use of our online delivery service. By placing an order, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.

2. Orders and Acceptance


2.1 All orders placed through our website are subject to acceptance. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order at our discretion.
2.2 Order confirmation will be sent via email, but acceptance occurs only when the goods are dispatched.
2.3 Availability of products is subject to change without notice. If an item is unavailable, we will contact you to discuss alternatives or offer a refund.

3. Pricing and Payment


3.1 All prices listed on the website are in RAND and inclusive of applicable taxes.
3.2 Delivery charges are calculated at checkout and depend on location and order size.
3.3 Payment must be made in full at the time of ordering through our secure payment gateway.

4. Delivery


4.1 We deliver to Cape Town and surrounding areas. Delivery times may vary depending on location and product availability.
4.2 Estimated delivery times are provided as a guide and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to weather, seasonal demand, or unforeseen circumstances.
4.3 If no one is available to receive the delivery, we may leave the order in a safe location or reschedule at an additional cost.

5. Shipping & Liability Disclaimer


5.1 All plants are carefully inspected, packaged, and handed over to the courier in good condition. Once the order has been dispatched, responsibility for the plants passes to the courier service.

5.2 We cannot accept liability for any delays, damage, loss, or adverse conditions that may occur during transit. Customers are encouraged to track their parcels directly with the courier and to contact the courier service in the event of any delivery issues.

5.3 All our live plants are personally packaged with great care to ensure they reach you in excellent condition. Please note that sourcing and preparing your order may take up to 7 to 8 days, especially if specific plants need to be sourced to meet your order requirements.

Once your plants are ready to go, delivery times can vary based on your location. For instance, shipments to Johannesburg typically take an additional 3 days with the courier. We kindly ask for your patience during this period.

By placing an order, you acknowledge that once the plants are handed over to the courier, any delays or handling issues during transit are outside our direct control. We do our utmost to package everything securely, but we cannot be held liable for unforeseen courier delays once dispatched.

6. Returns and Refunds

6.1 Once products are received they will be signed for and there will be no return policy or refund once signed for on delivery.

7. Seasonal Trimming Disclaimer

7.1 Please note that all plants in our nursery are maintained according to their seasonal needs. This means that certain varieties—such as lavenders, salvias, and any plants that benefit from seasonal cutbacks—will be trimmed back appropriately before delivery if it’s their natural time for pruning. This helps ensure the health and future growth of the plants you receive
