Description
Osteospermum Moniliferum, previously known as Chrysanthemoides Monilifera and commonly referred to as “Bitou Bush” or “Boneseed,” is a hardy, evergreen shrub that produces cheerful yellow, daisy-like flowers from spring to summer. It typically grows between 91 to 182 cm tall and thrives in full sun, adapting well to a variety of soil types, including sandy and poor soils. This low-maintenance shrub is drought-tolerant, making it suitable for erosion control, coastal plantings, and providing habitat for native birds. However, it has the potential to become invasive in some regions.
